LAHORE: Wasim Khan has resigned as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s Chief Executive on Monday, ARY News reported.
The PCB has also confirmed the news and said its Board of Governors (BoG) will have a meeting later today on this matter.
“Pakistan Cricket Board today confirmed Wasim Khan has tendered his resignation as Chief Executive. As is the process, the BoG will meet later today to consider the matter,” PCB’s statement read.
It is pertinent to mention here that Wasim’s tenure as CEO was supposed to end in February next year. The British-Pakistani joined PCB’s office soon after Ehsan Mani took charge as PCB chairman in 2018.
