Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has bashed an Indian newspaper for spreading fake news of him being interested in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman’s post.
Earlier today, Times of India (TOI), one of India’s top newspaper posted this news and in reply to the tweet, the 55-year-old Wasim reminded them to stop spreading fake news and make their sources right.
“TOI is one of India’s top and credible newspapers and such baseless news can only hurt that image,” he wrote.
Sultan of Swing added that he was never interested in it.” PCB chairman’s post is a specialized job and I was never interested in it. Thank God, I am content where I am in my life,” he concluded his tweet.
