Latham to keep wickets against Pakistan after Blundell ruled out

RAWALPINDI: New Zealand’s skipper Tom Latham has confirmed that he will do part-time wicketkeeping for his team against Pakistan in ODIs.

New Zealand’s regular keeper Tom Blundell was ruled out of the series due to injury. In an online presser, the skipper told the reporter that he will keep wickets in the series.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Daryl Mitchell, who was initially picked for the T20Is against Pakistan, will join the one-day squad in place of Blundell ahead of the second match after completing his mandatory isolation in Rawalpindi.

You must note it here that Blundell sustained the injury during their 3-2 T20 series defeat against Bangladesh in their backyard.
