Pakistan reports 49 Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has recorded 49 fresh Covid-19 cases during the last 24 hours, ARY News reported on Sunday, quoting National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

According to the statistics shared by the NCOC, a total of 8,944 Covid-19 diagnostic tests were conducted, of which 49 samples tested positive.

The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 0.55 percent.

No patient of coronavirus died in last 24 hours, 39 patients of the disease have been in precarious condition, according to the NCOC.

Earlier, the NIH, in the statement, said almost 45 coronavirus patients were being treated in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) across the country at different medical facilities.

It is pertinent to mention here that a total of over 1.5 million Covid-19 cases have been reported in Pakistan so far, while the total number of coronavirus-related deaths has reached 30,581.
