Lahore: Left-hander Sharjeel Khan smashed the fourth T20 hundred to guide Sindh to 196/7 against Southern Punjab in the 24th match of the National T20 Cup.
The southpaw scored 101 off 56 balls, powered by 13 fours and four sixes. The other notable batter was Saud Shakeel, scoring 26 off 19 balls.
Sindh’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was named in T20 World Cup squad today, only scored 13 off 12. Anwar Ali played 17 run cameo at the backend.
All Southern Punjab bowlers went for over eight runs per over. Naseem Shah and Mohammad Imran took two wickets each while skipper Aamer Yamin and Zia-ul-Haq bagged a wicket each.
