LAHORE: Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam confirmed meeting with to-be Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja.
While talking to reporters, Babar said he had a positive meeting with Raja who is most likely to become the new PCB chairman on September 13.
“Yes, I had a meeting with Ramiz Bhai and it was a positive one. He shared his idea and mindset, we will try to take his mindset forward,” he shared.
Earlier, reports claimed that upcoming PCB chief Raja met skipper Babar and gave him free hand to select the T20 World Cup squad.
It must be noted here that elections for the 36th PCB chairman will take place at Gaddafi Stadium on September 13. PCB’s Patron-in-Chief Prime Minister Imran Khan nominated Raja and Asad Ali Khan for cricket’s chairmanship.
