KARACHI: Pakistan’s weightlifting olympian Talha Talib has been made the ambassador of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE) Pro League (PMPL) South Asia tournament.
According to the details, Talha will be cheering for the teams in the ongoing PMPL South Asia. The tournament will run till October 20 featuring 20 South Asian Esports teams.
“PUBG mobile esports teams set a great example for not only digital athletes, but for all athletes,” says Olympian Talha. “The dedication and team spirit they show in PUBG mobile reminds me of my fellow Olympians. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes work and effort put forward by esports players that most fans and spectators never hear about,” he added.
Talha is among some of Pakistan’s and Nepal’s most popular gaming influencers and top esports players who will be in a show match.
