Islamabad: Pakistan’s T20 World Cup-bound squad will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in the coming days during the National T20 Cup, ARY News reported.
According to details, the purpose of the meeting is to boost players’ morale ahead of the mega event in UAE/Oman next month.
The date and time of the meeting will be finalised soon after viewing PM Khan’s other commitments. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja will also attend the meeting.
It must be noted that the first leg of the National T20 Cup will start from September 23 in Rawalpindi while Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the second phase from October 6 to 13.
All leading Pakistani players will take part after the New Zealand and England tours were cancelled.
