NZ team will travel back tomorrow via chartered plane: Wasim Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s CEO, Wasim Khan informed reporters that the New Zealand team will return to their home tomorrow via chartered plane.

In an unofficial talk with reporters here outside Interior Ministry’s office, Khan said the cancelation of the tour by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) will hurt Pakistan.

“Whatever happened, it is going to hurt Pakistan,” he commented. “New Zealand team will depart for their home tomorrow via chartered plane,” he shared in a brief interaction with reporters.

It must be noted here that NZC ‘unilaterally decided to postpone Pakistan tour’ citing security threats despite Prime Minister Imran Khan’s foolproof security assurance to New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
