No training session as heavy rain hit Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan cricket team’s training session has been called off after heavy rain hit the city in the afternoon. 

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) informed that the team’s first training session ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand has been canceled.

According to the weather forecast, Rawalpindi is expected to receive rain till tomorrow. There is no prediction of rain on match days that are September 17, 19, and 21.

The New Zealand team will reach Pakistan after 18 years tomorrow. They will land in Islamabad.

After the ODI series, New Zealand and Pakistan will play five T20Is from September 25 to October 3 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
