Lahore: Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja and Asad Ali Khan have been appointed as members of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Board of Governors after the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination issued the notification, ARY Sports reported.
Asad Ali Khan is named a member of the governing body for the second time. The appointments of both the members are for three years.
Election for the chairman of PCB will take place now after Mani refused to get a further extension. BoG will elect the chairman of the PCB.
From the seven members of BoG, two members will contest for PCB chairmanship.
Justice rtd. Azmat Sheikh has already been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner for these elections. The election dates are yet to be revealed.
